| Lived/Worked | Brody grew up in southgate and studied graphic design at the London College of Printing, before immersing himself in the music secnes in the early 80's. He has worked and lived around the world from Europe as far afield as Japan. |

Brody is also famous for his collection of FUSE, which is a collection of Typographic designs published By FontShop. This is a cardboard packaging which contains a floppy disk with experimanetal typefaces and 5 A2 folded posters with some of his work on!
Brody has become famous and a key factor in developing graphic design in how we percieve graphic design today. Brody's work focusses upon the evolution of a new visual language that questions and creates a dialogue on the role of electronic design in communication, where he uses aesthetic elements from art deco and Betrays non european influences.
During the 80's Brody had comissions frmo 'Haus Der Kulturen Welt Berlin, Men's Bigi and Parco in Japan where he was able to take his design to another level, he had the oppertunity of designing Postage stamps for the Deutch PTT, which were followed by 2 major television graphics projects 'The German Cable Channel Premier and the Austrian state state Broadcasting company ORF. Brody was in a league of his own regarding Graphic design, where he became an inventor in designing typefaces, it was this that forced Brody to become business partners with Iwa Richards, where they opened studios in London, followed by Paris and Berlin and they currently have plans on oppening another in New York. In 1990 Brody opened Font Works with Stuart Jenson and became a director of FontShop where he launched the experimental type magazine 'FUSE' it is said that his work was influenced from designers such as 'Man Ray and Lazlo Maholy - Lazlo's.
The best way to view Brody's work is either typically through the medium of Internet or Books, books such as 'The graphic language of Neville Brody' gives a great insight into his work, this book also a follow on from his exhibitions that have been held over the years in city's such as London, Edinghburgh, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Main and Tokyo.
