How I communicate

My week compared to the average

Describe how your interactions compare to the average for the class. Is your profile similar to the average or different?

Looking at my weekly data collection it is clear that I am very social as ‘direct messages’ take up more than half of the chart. The next biggest parts that take up the chart are facebook messages and images sent, this shows that I prefer to interact via type and photos rather than calling people on the phone. I believe that this chart would not change much during the weeks as I mostly use direct messaging, this is because I find it much easier and it gives me time to think what I want to say and if I really want to say it. It is also much more helpful, as messages do not have to be read straight away, meaning I can pass on a message which can be read when suitable for the person I am interacting with.

Another thing that I have spotted it is that I prefer interacting with a person rather than the whole world as my ‘facebook updates’ and ‘instagram updates’ take up the least amount of the chart.

Overall, I am very sociable when it comes to social media, and seem to be quite active when it comes to social media as I am always on the go, using my smart phone mostly, rather than a laptop.
